Terms & Conditions

Regular indoor classes:

Parents/Carers are solely responsible for their child/children at all times during Little Learners classes; for example, although care is taken to ensure materials used are non-toxic, parents/carers should take sensible precautions to ensure that materials aren't ingested. As we cater to a range of ages, some toys and games contain smaller parts which are best avoided by babies all together.

Please be aware that some activities involve materials which can become slippery so extra care must be taken.

Please be aware that you are expected to supervise and move around the stations with your child. If attending with more than 1 child you must move around together as a family group to ensure the safety of both.

Activities have been planned and set out with appropriate resources at each learning station. Please refrain from allowing your child to move them from their station, so that all children can fully access each activity.

Suitable respect must be shown to our venue. Messy play is contained as much as possible to the messy stations and floor coverings. Please do not allow your child to paint on the walls or any other surfaces or furnishings, only at the designated paint station.

Please wear old clothes that you and your child are comfortable to move about in and would not be worried about getting wet or marked. Little Learners takes no responsibility for clothes which are stained, marked or damaged.

Little Learners reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

You must declare all medical conditions including allergies during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing us at - mitch@littlelearnersuk.com

You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address: mitch@littlelearnersuk.com

Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.

You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.

We do NOT issue refunds or replacement sessions for any missed sessions due to your own circumstances.

If I cancel a session for any reason I will contact you by text or email asap, you will then be offered an alternative date to make up for it. Notice will always be given as far in advance as possible, but please check texts and emails an hour prior to the session starting incase of a very last minute cancellation (For example, if I've arrived to setup to find venue double booked, or my kids have come down with a poorly bug in the night).

You must also agree to follow any and all applicable Covid regulations, relevant to your local area restrictions at the time. Sanitising hands on entry and throughout session, wearing masks and socially distancing as appropriate, 1 adult per child.

Disclaimer

Any misuse of discount codes will result in you being invoiced for the remaining balance. This includes sharing codes which are for your sole use only and using codes which aren't applicable ie. sibling discounts.

Outdoor nature walks or outdoor classes:

In addition to all above terms, the following conditions also apply to our outdoor sessions.

Safety - As we walk through the woodland the terrain will be uneven and may be muddy in places, it is not recommended for individuals with limited mobility. There may be natural obstacles like tree roots or low hanging branches that you need to be aware of at all times. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically well enough to attend the walk and are responsible for yourself and your little ones safety throughout this event. Little Learners is not responsible for any trips or falls that may occur during this time. But we are trained in first aid if needed. 

Weather - The event will run in ALL weathers unless there is a danger element such as a weather warning with heavy rain/storms or strong winds forecast. In the case of cancellation, you will be contacted as soon as possible via text/email and we will try to arrange an alternative date. If for whatever reason we can't run on an alternative date - refunds will then be made. 

If you choose not to attend your booked session due to slightly inclement weather on the day, but the class still goes ahead as planned, you will NOT be issued a refund as someone else could have had your space.

What to bring - Due to the nature of the session and it being outdoors, we ask that you bring appropriate clothing for all weathers. Coats and wellys for cold/rain and also hats and suncream for sunshine (fingers crossed we have this 🤞). Please bring baby wipes, spare clothes etc. to dry/clean your child off with before going home for a long soak in the bath!

There may not always be accessible toilets at all of our outdoor venues. If the call of nature occurs when we are out, it is up to you to do whatever you would usually do if caught short when out and about.

Rubbish - you might have some rubbish at some point throughout the day and we will have a binbag available at the end however if you do not find the binbag/bin can we kindly ask you to take your rubbish home :)
